Overview
This role will be filled by a diligent, charismatic and analytical individual with whom has the passion to provide top-notch service while catering to our customers.The Customer Service Associate will report to the Service Lead and is responsible for communicating across various channels with shoppers who need assistance with their orders, returns, products and other relevant services. You are responsible for casting the company vision: spreading audio bliss through thoughtful product curation, accurate information, and expert advice - one person at a time.The ideal candidate has one or more years of experience in customer/guest relations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Maintain best in-class customer experience and product support throughout all of our communication channels
  • Answer high volume of incoming phone calls and emails
  • Identify and adapt to consumer behavior as to satisfy all customers upon the first contact
  • Record data from your customer interactions
  • Recommend appropriate accessories and/or product(s) from all of our large product selection
  • Provide consistent follow through with commitments/promises made to every guest
  • Build brand excitement and soft-sell, particularly applying emphasis on authorized manufacturers
  • Emphasize product features after qualifying your customers, help with any technical aspect and explain product capabilities and limitations
  • Maintain a great attention to detail
  • Facilitate customer returns from the start to finish; answer any questions all throughout
  • Have flexibility to work varying shifts dependent upon the needs of our team
  • Contribute to monthly service goals, both individual and collective
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of company merchandise, industry trends and upcoming products
  • Perform other miscellaneous tasks related to the service function
  • Complete & Maintain MECP Certification: mandatory within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Dedicated to helping others
  • Analytical, critical thinker
  • Strong independent worker
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong customer service background (1+ years)
  • Great telephone etiquette
  • Experienced problem solver
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and reporting
  • Typing certification required: minimum 45 WPM Net of errors**


Bonus Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. (college experience preferred but relevant work experience accepted)
  • Proficiency with excel and reporting
  • Bilingual in Spanish

Working Conditions

Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. Periodic weekend or evening work is expected. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic intervals throughout the day. May require reaching above shoulder height, below the waist or lifting to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting of files, computer printouts, and merchandise on occasion. We love audio and this job will require you to be exposed to an abundance of loud noises from speakers and other fantastic audio producing equipment.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Compensation

Base Pay: $11.50/hour ($11/hour for first 90 days)
