Job Overview

We are seeking to fill this role with a passionate, dedicated, and motivated individual who in their core want to provide exceptional sales and support, as well, embody our mission, vision and core values.

Our Customer Commitment Specialists report into our Sales & Service Supervisor. This role emphasizes ownership of every interaction in order to drive customer satisfaction and increase profitability for the business. This is an incredibly important position that is responsible for casting our company vision: spreading audio bliss through thoughtful product curation, accurate information, and expert advice - one person at a time.

The ideal candidate has years of experience within 12V (car audio) or a background in automotive.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain a blended margin of 30% (minimum) across sales orders
  • Own all customer interaction and drive first contact resolution
  • Deliver upon our best in-class customer experience, product and technical support that meets or exceeds a customer NPS Score (net promoter score) of 80%
  • Create and foster lasting customer relationships that grows brand loyalty
  • Master the customer journey and ensure customers realize their desired outcome
  • Provide timely support to customer inquiries across any channel; inbound calls, outreach, emails, live chat and social media
  • Set expectations and meet those expectations
  • Daily administration and clerical recording
  • Keep current on 12V merchandise, industry trends and new-release products
  • Complete & maintain internal and MECP certification requirements
  • Maintain company and professional standards
  • Shift flexibility

Basic Qualifications

  • Background in car, consumer and/or automotive electronics industry
  • Sales and customer service experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
  • Typing Speed: 45 WPM
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • MECP certification
  • 3+ years sales and customer service experience

Compensation and Incentives

Non-exempt: $12/hour

Eligible bonuses:

  • Monthly
  • 10% gross profit from sales with a minimum blended margin of 30% for phone sales, 20% for wholesale
  • $1/hr. adjusted increase = 90% NPS Score
  • $1.50/hr. adjusted increase = 95% NPS Score * Quarterly
  • $600/quarter = Hit sales bonus for three consecutive months * Contest opportunities

Working Conditions

Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting of files, computer printouts, and merchandise on occasion. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
